had dental check just now. $60 gone! didn't expect it to be that expensive. erm.. my teeth are now in a perfect condition i guess...

and i have very sensative nose a.k.a allergic rhinitis. had a minor surgery done to my nose last week at cgh. tomorrow me gonna be seeing a nose specialist at cgh's ENT (ear, nose, throat) dept. did allergic test afew weeks ago. verdict : i am very allergic to dust mites and a lil bit allergic to cat fur. luckily other things i am not allergic, including seafood!

i love my new cordless philips phone at home. just got them last weekend! nice orange screen, easy to look at night! during my survey of cordless, i asked the salesgirl what's the main difference between a $89 phone & a $129 phone. she said, the $129 has a HD-display. i was like WHAT?! HD-display for a cordless phone? erm... ok! just learnt about that though

my medical officer (a doctor) was sharing with us his best holiday. he have been to alot of places including US and japan. and guess what's the answer?! he say the best was to redang island, somewhere in malaysia. he said the activites are snorkelling and scuba diving. after thinking and visualise abou t snokelling...i decided to go! so he me my-frenz likely to go during my 1st school term break in october! coz he's busy other times.
me going for a short holiday to kl 'n' genting with my camp frenz soon! booked air tickets, now left the accomodation. any recommendations? tag it!

been to a buffet dinner recently with my frenz. it was at The Rice Table. Some where in orchard. the food, super nice! 9.5/10 rating. go try out! especially the chicken satay... the best i had ever ate in my life! wanna find out more? will be this coming wednesday at alexandra hospital. the dentist showed me my x-trays, and the teeth are growing side-ways. can be seen super obviously on the x-tray films. anyway will be on MC on thursday & friday! super long weekend...

visit to the dentist
yesterday, went to the dentist. after about a year not visiting them, i did yesterday. had my teeth cleaned, polished and scalled. the dentist is very nice. as in, did not 'tekan' my teeth to the extreme. a little pain though. but everything went fine. as usual, was having phobia going to the dentist. but haf to visit them once a year. my wisdom tooth are coming out. the dentist refer me to see a specialist to take them out. so, will be going to alexandra hospital next thursday for consultation. appointment suppose to be at national dental centre, but appointment at AH is faster.

bird nest

a very cute yellow bird just build a nest on one of my mum's flower. coz the flower is hanging, so one of the stems is danggling. so the bird build their new home there. very nice cute bird. anyway, new ruling is : no unnecessary noise allowed outside the house with immediate effect... my mum ruling! so every hafta comply. anyway, if we don't make much noise, the bird won't get disturbed. but some noise only, they will dash out of their nest. but everyday they are there. i can see them sound asleep if i come back home late at night.

saturday : 3 january 2009
woke up in the morning, played game on the computer. then in the afternoon, went to azura's (niece) open house with my parents. their new pasir ris house is super big n nice. contemporarily designed, i like! and is also very accessible, be it my car or by bus. and it's on 14th floor... wow! high, windy. and her mum ask me why i lost weight. is that true guys? and... i got a crush on one of the girls there...

then went to mk to meet up my buddies. went cycling from ecp to singapore flyers. super tiring! like wanna faint. we took 3 hours plus for the whole journey. of coz with breaks in the middle. first break point was about 10 metres away from our starting point, that was at macdonalds. then cycle all the way... to singapore flyers. jsut got to know about the lepak area behind singapore flyers. then we went to lepak at simpang bedok. reach home at 2! bathed, then jumped...onto my cosy bed!

woke up in the morning. guess what's for breakfast???
my favourite spaghetti mum cooked. i super like her spaghetti. super nice. had 2 servings for breakfast. then in the afternoon was busy doing youth@kassim stuff. after that, went to mr teh tarik at geylang with my family. that's one of favourite makan places.
after that, went to courts megastore and giant at tampines to do some little shopping. went there by the long way, not by the highway. then mum ask, why? the objective was to sight-see the east area. crap! anyway, the queue at giant were super long for all counters. after that, i'm here updating my blog! hahaha

x'mas celebration
was a simple meet-up with my great nypsu buddies. thanks to asilah for organising this simple-yet-super enjoyable date for us! after not seeing each other for decades.
the staff over there were very sporting & supportive. they made an announcement to the whole restaurant of our birthday celebration. first-timers like me very shocked but impressed on seeing what happened.

another place i should say is pizza hut marina sq. super supportive group of staff. they would even play the "birthday" song over their music system.

mum bought me an x'mas present! a nikon SLR camera! thanks mum!

new year
happy new year to everyone! spent new year over at jb with my family. shopped quite abit at city square - my fav! the new immigration in jb is no better than the existing one. there's more jams even. haiz... it's my second time using the new complex. my first time, on departure from jb, was stopped by immgration officers. hafta park my car at one side, and see their supervisor. y? bcoz my record was not in the system for arrival into jb. my mistake?

anyways bought quite a number of j&co donuts at city square. bought dunkin donuts the day before. both are nice! only that j&co is nicer i guess.

i wanna go for a holiday before going back to school. where should i go? my mum is 'ON' for a family holiday. any suggestions? somewhere near lah...

i got free escape theme park tickets. will be going with fem ihsan nh next weekend! can't wait to jump onto the rides which I have taken countless times. oh well, nevermind...it's free!

will be getting free zoo tickets too... thanks to the welfare at my workplace.

this week haf been a fun-packed week!

saturday = smu + warcraft + swensens

went to the smu matriculation a.k.a jamboree at the admin building! super alot of people as it's matriculation for all courses in smu. performances were impressive. but the matriculation wasn't that impressive. b'coz we had to queue-up for very long to get things done at the 5 stations. anyway, matriculated successfully! will be able to enjoy their facilities 'n' join any CCAs pretty soon. that's the advantage matriculating early.

after that went to meet my medical frenz for warcraft. played at the parklane. played warcraft and cs. i dunno how to play warcraft. they taught me how to play! but after some time, i still cant get it. it's not easy seriously, unless u have had experience playing those type of games. and i'm not the type of person who is really into games. so, nevermind. i'm going to give up on playing those games. but counter strike i was able to play, thanks to my experiencing working at tanglin club. after that went to swensens at plaza singapura for dinner. end of day with a smile!

sunday = secret recipe + madagascar 2 + simpang bedok

went out with fem & ihsan. went to buy our tix at cathay. we had about afew hours before our movie starts. and everyone's hungry. so we head down to secret recipe for lunch. i had grilled chicken + coke + banana chocolate! then it's time for madagascar 2! long waited movie for me! it's a very enjoyable movie. but expected more though. madagascar 1 was better i guess. then went for dinner at simpang bedok.

today was a simple plan! morning went to the bank to pick-up my new card. then after that, it was car wash time... gonna pick-up quite a number of people for the evening's wedding invitation at admiralty. it's my second time washing the car myself. usually would just send it to the carwash. but they didn't really clean them the way i want. so today, clean it the way i want! i was soaked in wetness!

anyway the wedding was a nice one! alot to eat... got to meet alot of relatives... but we got confused of the location. in the same carpark area, there's 2 wedding going on! both are at the multi-purpose hall. luckily, we brought along the invitation cards. what if we went to the wrong one and had our stomach filled-up? *embarassement*

fish & co. - my favourite!
went out with filzieee last saturday, it was a last minute plan! everything was set in 5 minutes! main plan was to shop for a watch! we went to catch a movie, lakeview terrace at the cathay! a great show i should say! was expecting to bump into my niece. but didn't. after that, went to catch my favourite pan at fish & co.!

50:50 day today!
was extremely very busy during the day, before lunch. was doing a lot of stuff. lunch was not good. after lunch was quite free. chatting more!

50 demerit points...
my friend took his tp test last week, and was alarmed to hear got 50 points, but no immediate failure. hard to believe? me too... but bluff also for what? so for aini & nas, both of u are much better than him i guess! so be motivated for the upcoming test alright.

got to discover alot of nice parks! like the hortpark, telok blangah hill & mt faber. super nice parks! walk was not that tiring though. after the walk, dinner with eashwar at vivo! had my favourite fried prawn hokkien mee! i love hokkien mee... nicest is at banquet compasspoint & simpang bedok & teh tarik house @ geylang!

had those for the past 3 days! spent alot of time resting a.k.a sleeping. was sneezing non-stop on the first day. but getting better i guess... given 1 day MC today! slept during the day, and now i can't sleep! thanks medicine...

happenings last week...

jalan raya with stn 33 (sengkang fire station)
our annual jalan raya! as usual, went to the paramedics, medics & ambulance driver houses. Covered about 12 houses with 7 cars this year! left last house at about 3+ in the morning! shiokness... will upload the pix when get it!

4d/3n kuala lumpur genting trip
was enjoyable! spend alot of time shopping! love the rides at the theme park! i love roller coasters! for now, only afford to go genting to enjoy those rides. Next stop -> 7-flag theme park! all the theme parks in california yea!

after months ignoring my blog, i just feel updating it... hahaha! life been fluctuating, ups & downs! one moment it's great, one moment it's lousy. anyway, taking about raya... it's been as usually great. it's a time worth enjoying!

most of the time, will be in baju kurong. it's the only time thay I will try all my baju kurong, from the past to the present collections. i love all my baju kurongs! anyway this year is black. as usual, will grab mine at a.c. collections! anyways, yesterday went out with the darul boys! was with hanafiah naj nh zafir hafiz aslam ihsan n othman. covered 12 houses yesterday. wow! felt hyper-exhausted by the time i sent the last which was around 2am? but at every house was an enjoyable one! i simply love it every moment of yesterday. and hafta get up by 7am to go to werk! but i make it today. but took half day leave instead. super tired. how to work? went lunch with sis at compass point just before heading back home.

plans for the upcoming week... will be going jalan raya with sengkang fire stations crew! the paramedics, medics n ambulance drivers a.k.a SAMOs who i used to follow! missed them very much! last year we went with 6 cars! this year, will definitely more. and will be going to kl and genting over the long weekend! no preparation done yet, except for transportation and accomodation. intend to go by flight. but find the process too troublesome. i am so lazy when it comes to.........packing my bags n luggages! but as usual, i will pack them the night before.

i missed school days! especially poly days man! projects n stuff. work is so boring! i guess smu will be able to overcome that next august! i wonder how many modules i could be exempted. no news yet!

darul ihsan flag day at east view sec (evss)

yesterday was darul ihsan's flag day... i was stationed at east view sec (evss). dressed in black polo tee with stripes, reached the school gate around 8! we managed to give out abt 300+ tins to the students. and everything went on smoothly... drove darul ihsan's hired van around to collect more tins from bedok library...
it was a very tiring weekend! but....it's for good..

this morning, went to DI to count the money! returned the hired vans first. 7 drivers to drive 7 vans... after that went to NUH to visit my platoonmate together with shahrul, habib and taufik. then went to have dinner with my family to celebrate my mum's b'day!

don't be surprised if u see my blog being updated. hehe... anyway, i'm now posted to cgh for my ns! am now a qualified medic. it's been about 2 months now at cgh. ok, tat's a short & sweet description abt my ns! the working hours is... 2 days, 2 nights followed by 2 OFFs. the first 2 weeks upon graduation from the medic course, i was attached to sengkang fire station. it was a truly memorable 'n' enjoyable time i had with the paramedics, medics n ambulance drivers!

hari raya this year was quite plain... went beraya with sengkang fire station group of medics + paramedics was the most happening one this year! haven't got the pics we took. thousands of it! 5 cars + 1 mpv took us around for that! usually darul ihsan berjalan raya is happening, but there wasn't one this year! beraya with youth@kassim was also great! but this is a smaller group, where there's only about 3-4 cars?

talking about cars, my mum bought a family car for me! hehe... basically b'coz i'm the only driver. it's a small car though... but it's more powerful than the mpv i drove recently. really!!! fuel consumption is another consideration why i chose that small car. looking into the recent fuel hikes, it's a good choice! it's perodua kelisa. kelisa is the model. not a name i gave to her, as thought by aini!

yesterday was darul ihsan friday mosque collection. it's a smaller version of flag day! helped them to drive the al-irsyad students arounds. drove 8 of them in a trajet. as they were short of drivers, went to return rented vehicles, vans, mpvs n apvs in the evening. after that, stayed to help them to count the money collected... then drove those staff n volunteers staying around bedok res n tampines, just before returning the last vehicle.

it's been 8 weeks passed in BRTC! 3 more weeks to go! yeah!!!

but, it's been 5 months my blog have not been updated...

anyways, trainings have been not-very-tough and managable so far! my platoon mates are 'gerek'! my ex-platoon commander is the very gerek! but =( he just ORD last week. Luckily my weekends are left untouched! as in I dun haf to come back to camp on weekends! btw im now blacker tanner compared to b4 NS! expected!

this weekend is just like my other weekends.

gotta book out earlier bcoz there's sore-eyes season in my camp. so we booked out at around 4.30pm? then after that went out wif hanaf n fahmi to tampines. went to uncle aziz's place for talk-cock session then went to watch knocked out at plaza sing! went home quite late at 3am! seldom i am out at that hours!

its shopping day! went shopping wif my sister n bro-in-law. went several places, coz im driving. went woodlands... orchard... bugis...

then evening was family feast. we went to baliThai at tamp mall. nice food...

Btw I have changed my hp! My ex-phone cracked! So, tat will be an excuse to get it replace. I've now with me... N73! cam is better of coz... speaker is better on w850, but using earphone is the same. other stuff are the same... And my number have changed! it's 8282 _ _ _ _ nice number right? hehe...

a lil update

It's been about 1 month of work! and I truly enjoy it! that's I can say about my workplace. I'm left with about 1 month only. Soon to say 'Bye!' to them! Only working with MICA that I got the chance to enter the City Hall and Supreme Court. I join the site tour conducted by my bosses. I became the back-man for a group of about 15 artchitects from all-over-the-world. ok, frankly speaking, i'm not suitable to be the back-man at that time. y? coz i myself am not sure around the building and it was my first time entering around the buildings! I got to snaps pics in there! but i lazy to upload it now. next time perhaps... btw, there's a vacancy at my place. they are looking for a corporate support staff. so, contact me if you are interested!

Anyway, I'm now in the Youth@Kassim team. For a start, I went dinner with them last weekend at a middle-eastern restaurant at Pahang Street, I forgotten the name already. Below is the pic! Nice people there. Had lots and lots of laughter...

School ended only about 1 month ago. and i'm missing my fellow classmates especially, and also nypsu members! hope to meet you guys during our graduation! Yeah! Which will be in july?! Andrew have entered camp!

Went for smu undergrad interview yesterday. ok, it wasn't an easy interview. the questions asked was really out-of-the-world kind. for example, how many 10-litres buckets will you need to empty the mandai lake. we were suppose to estiamte the answer with no clue given. ok, that's only one of them. but, the interview went on well. but i have no confident to secure a place at smu. but hopefully, i can get it!

my class was great! we had our chalet last tuesday! i truly enjoyed it. but i must say that my poly class it0415 is the most 'on' class i had went through throughout my life! thanks to everyone to make my poly life a great one! especially to my cliques! the graduation cake was exceptionally nice. thanks to me! please refer to aini's 'n' sharon's blog for pix! i'm so lazy to upload it! most of them came, but only few of us overnite.

work has been going well! i truly enjoy working there. people are friendly, nice and great! my team are all-gals before I stepped into the office. from deputy director, to managers, assistants managers up to corporate support officer, all gals! but it changed the day i stepped into the ofice! anyway work is really alot! but i enjoy being busy. compared to being bored...

last week attended one of my friend's wedding at cck. next week, another friend is getting married, but this time at bedok. slowly, all will get married i guess.

its been weeks that i haven't blog. due to the busy time i had during internship.

anyways i have successfully completed my 12 weeks internship with govt of s'pore investment corporation. and i really learnt lots and lots of things. thanks to my OIC who have been there most of the time to help me. i gave him a 'thank you' card to my OIC, another staff who helped me alot and a card for the whole team. my senior manager is very super friendly and that's a plus.

tomorrow i'm starting a new job. temporary coz i will be waiting to be called for ns. i will be working with ministry of information, communication and the arts.

btw, there's a UK fun fair in hougang. interesting rides! but bear in mind, the cost is also quite expensive. i took the 'challenger' ride, 4 times in 2 days! it's something like the pirate ship, but it's rotating. and the waving angle is also bigger. it almost reach the top. and i also took the old-timer ride 'top gun'. the most expensive ride was at 10 bucks.

i wasn't aware that my account is now under the new google blogger account.

thursday will be napfa test for me! all the best to me, drew n irvin!

anyway i'm now interested to take-up guitar class! i wanna learn play guitar. so will be registering at a music school in hougang mall soon i guess...

spent v'day with my 5 good buddies! went to bugis & suntec. gift-exchanged. and it's the first time ai nee wrote me a long friendship note! we ate seoul garden. i didn't eat alot. i just no mood to eat.

last weekend was a happening one!
saturday was the flag day for darul ihsan. i was stationed at ang mo kio library, for the second time. left home at about 5:30am. went for breakfast with sister at lorong 1 geylang for roti prata. reached there at about 7:30am, about 30 students was already there with my flag day centre partner. i never expected they would arrive this early. i thought the official time was 8 o'clock. soon the crowd form. our amk centre have about 360 students from anderson sec and ahmad ibrahim sec. imagine 4 people manning the booth to issue tins and administrate the students. and the peak was till about 10:30am that the registration ends. luckily there were about 3 to 4 ahmad ibrahim teachers helping us to facilitate the students. everything ends at about 4 o'clock and it was raining heavily! then in the evening, went to celebrate mum's birthday. i brought them to eatzi gourmet for dinner. it was western for dinner! i had mixed grill, mum had chef's special steak & dad had steam n fish. then we head back home after that...

sunday we went sun tanning! me mum dad sister n bro-in-law went to ecp for tanning! huahaha... just before we were baked under the sun, we had lunch at the lagoon. then we tanned, soaked in the sea and had fun! in the sea, mum suddenly talk about my 21st birthday celebration. just a lil bit about it, we will be having it at our own house. it will me made up of religious-part and also normal-celebration-part. mum intend to invite 60 guests only. but everything is still in the process of planning. i'm still looking for a good caterer to cook for us! ok, it seems like there's no other better time to discuss on this! hahaha.... but i think mum wanna discuss with my sister's presence, that's y! on the way back, we went to haig road for dinner! we were not hungry actually. so i sister n bro-in-law had mee rebus, while mum n dad had something which i can't remember. after that we went for grocery shopping. i dun really enjoy it though... then sister & bro-in-law slept at our place. so i end up sleeping quite late. bro-in-law was very tired as we worked last night so he knocked off a minute talking in the hall.

anywayz... attachment left about 17 more days.... surprisingly, i haven't yet started my main project. my boss is too busy. he finally gave me part of my main project on monday. but now i have another thing on hand, that is the Data table-to-CSV converter (standalone version). so far I have been doing quite a number of ad-hock stuff. not so bad for presentation. quite a number of application to be presented.

Ok it have been a long long time that I didn't blog. B'cos i have been trying to sign in into blogger, but i can't. anyways, happy belated new year~ huahaha... we are only 10 days away from the new year. but to my muslim friends, the Hijrah new year is coming in 10 days time, so Happy New Year! Anyways, alot of things have happened.

Went to Ikea & Courts at tampines. They are two very gigantic superstores, as expected! But it is very crowded. Went there not long time ago with ma mum. Bought some stuff there. You all shouldn't miss the chance to grab the great deals they haveee...! Was suprised, but impressed Ikea tampines have prayer room within their premises.

The most recent movie I watched was The musuem comes alive at the night (the title is something like that, but i'm sure u know what I mean). Is very enjoyable, funny and entertaining. Watched with ihsan, zafir and nh quite some time ago.

Last week, went to Vivo for the third time. this time is with aini, nas, angainee and drew! drew was behaving abit awkwardly. But nevermind, he happy can already~ But pls don't repeat tat! it spoils the mood of everyone for awhile. as usual, took alot of pix. but mr emo andrew sent us in 4 zipped folders. so till now i havent bother to download the four folder, unzip the four folders. so shall do we it when i remember! we ate alot! 2 rounds of banquet? swensens? the first time was to attend the imf appreciation dinner. second time was with mum!

went to my dental appointment last week. $100 plus is gone again! and just found out that i have wisdom tooth! so doctor said just wait for NS coz they will pay for us! ok then...

this weekend i'm going for the ntu seminar at suntec. then going to attend darul ihsan's flag briefing in the afternoon. this year i'm helping the flag with sister! more fun i guess... huahaha! at least i won't be so bored. this year the flag day in on the 20th january around singapore.

20 january is also my mum's birthday. so sister and i is coming out with plans to celebrate it on the 21st jan instead.

we are now only 26 days away from ending the attachment. just a sentence for it, the timing is moving slowly! browsing thru the calendar, i can't find any more public holidays. haiz~ yesterday one of the staff asked why not extend my service with the company. hmmm... will think about it?! about my attachment project, my boss still havent gave me the skeleton of my actual work! all these while i thought what i was doing will be my actual project, but no! he said those were just testing and enriching my knowledge. he's too busy to handle interns like me! for the whole of this week and half of next week, from 9am to 5pm, they will be having meetings! and that's really true. for the past 3 days, 9 o'clocks onwards I won't see him at his desk. will only her his voice or see him around at about 5:30 plus. except lunch time, i won't be able to clarify some things with him. but i hope i can produce something at the end of the attachment! not forgetting that he have been rating me 5 all these while. this week's rating have also been accidentally rated even though it's only wednesday today! asual, 5! i'm happy.

talking about holidays......................................i want to go for a holiday!!! mum also want, so great! mum wants to go somewhere by taking flight. cos its been sometime we didn't meet the check-in counter staff. i also want to take flight!!! so...where should we go? I have been spending some time looking at tour packages promotions. but have yet to discuss it with mum. thought of going....hong kong! the disneyland? ocean park? any tips anyone about it? i wanna go there not bcoz i wanna meet the disney characters, but to enjoy the trilling rides like the roller coasters! i love the gold coast ones but mum sure won't want to go there again. but if she wants, i would love it!

Ok, it's been 4 days I didn't update my blog! monday...went to Sis Zuraidah's engagement in tampines. went with zafir, ihsan and n hameed. it's very packed there! took pix but the pix are still not with me yet! then later went to watch 'musuem comes alive at night' at century square. tuesday...Ooooooowwww! it's raining in the morning! the weather is not so great to go to work! end up went to work late! reach around 8:50. but my boss is later, so it's ok for me!

Yesterday had D&D meeting at 8pm. As usual, it ended at around 10.30pm. And as usual also, we shared cab home! I personally enjoyed being and working in the d&d committee. I think we are all doing great! for those who are interested to attend the d&d, just prompt me ok! Just a short detail, it will be held at Swissotel Merchant Court, located very near to NEL MRT Clarke Quay station. It will be held on 5 April 2006 (Thursday), a day before Good Friday. And ticket is only $65.

Ok, recently got alot of work to be done for attachment. yesterday started on a website project. then about an hour before time to go off, my collegue came to give me another task! converting an MS SQL database to CVT format. OMG!!! I learnt that during XML lesson last time! And I was like super lost! Luckily he gave some guidelines! And I managed to complete it yey :-)

Today gonna pack-up our stuff! We going JB tomorrow. After guest leave our house tomorrow, Bon Voyage to me! Hahaha... Coming back to Singapore maybe on monday or tuesday. Hopefully the shopping centres are open there! But i guess not :-(

today have been an empty day, again! my manager n snr manager are on leave! so i'm left unattended today. huahaha.....

went lunch with cher just now. she gave me an x'mas gift! thanks cher! never have i thought such a thing would happen.

today there's d&d meeting at 8pm. but i don't feel like going. feel tired!

it's only 14:31 now, and i have nothing to do all the way to 18:00hrs! nowadays, i leave office as punctual as i could! coz i <3 my residence! so yesterday i left at 18:01!

ok, it have been very boring for the past few days. i was asked to look thru the codes~ my supervisor is very busy with his projects. what i have been doing is listening to music most of the time, enjoying the food and drinks at the pantry, chatting on msn, smsing, sending emails, blog hopping, and last but not least update my blog today.

last weekend, was my resting days! on saturday, was resting at home. i didn't intend to go out. so played games on my computer.went to bugis on sunday. and bought 2 tops for my office wear.

monday i wasn't that bored half the day. was doing database integrity checks. ok, working with datas itself is very tedious and boring! i would rather code applications. but what to do?! the other half of the day was sending pix to the relevant people. owed quite number of people pictures~ and it was raining exceptionally heavy on monday morning! the weather wasn't right to go to work. furthermore it was monday blues! i was facing 1001 problems connecting to the internet. monday was my activation day. and i restarted my computer about 4? 5? times! luckily the customer service officer on the phone was quite patient! despite the about an hour call, it did not resolve my problem! in the end, i solve it myself. what i did was just use my existing modem! that's the best solution.

tuesday was boring! went to darul ihsan after work. then as i was reaching my doorstep, my aunt from malaysia also just arrived. so coincident!

wednesday was the first time i met the sun in the week. went lunching with my dept at tg. pagar hawker centre. we were shocked that there wasn't any halal food there. sad =(
there wasn't any muslim malay stall or indian stall. so i end up drinking a glass of soya bean drink, while the rest were remorseful that there wasn't any food for me. but i dun mind, it wasn't their fault. after that we went to amara hotel bk to ta-pau my lunch. there was alot of kids there. they just finished their camp and having lunch there. kids as in in their kindergarten life! the queue was moving very slowly. bought my favourite chicken sandwich set. then walk back to the office. had my lunch on my desk!

yesterday was suppose to go union x'mas party. at first intend to meet asilah at city hall. but then she say the party will end at around 8:30pm and we can only reach there at around 8. so she say not really beneficial to go. So, we didn't go in the end! reached home early yesterday, around 7:30pm. i felt feverish! but today i'm fine already!

today, i thought of doing a movie of my photos! most likely doing it later at home as most of my pix are at home! 1 thing i found out about my camera is. even though it have a small, but when the picture is uploaded to the computer, the picture is very big! and that's not appreciated coz it makes the picture so big that i can't send just by using email.

tomorrow there's d&d meeting. but hafta to meet mr wee for some issues for the d&d. so taking half-day off. d&d meeting is at 8. but luckily it's a friday tomorrow. so i don't really hafta worry about having to wake up early the next day.

this weekend's plan is to go to darul ihsan and also to go my sister's house. i owe her a few CDs of musics and movies! ok, she have been patient enough to wait for them for almost 1 month.

this morning right after uploading the pix in comp and was keeping my card reader and camera SD card, surprisining n shockingly my senior manager came to my desk! LUCKILY my screen was having the MS SQL server window! Fuuuuuhhhh........ i'm so lucky! if not, so bad impression! he came to ask how i am and how's everything. friendly isn't it? =)

anyway, today i lunched alone! =( my dept had early lunch today and they thought i am not joining them. then cher told me the day before that she's having lunch with wen liang and her dept. so i went lunch myself. i bough BK back to the office and enjoy my lunch, while waiting for the singnet customer service to pick-up my call. luckily the phone is speaker enabled. i waited for nearly half an hour before someone finally answered my call! then she say, according to her system, there's no record found. haiz..... she asked me to go back to hello shop at tampines mall to enquire. i was stunt to here that. but what else can she do right?!

Finally signed up for singnet! Hahaha..... Queued for about an hour or so last saturday. Home phone number changed. Was comparing between starhub and singnet, finally I chose singnet. It was very packed at tampines mall, as always.

But our journey home was quieter compared to other times we went tampines. Usually bus 72 will be so packed. But that nite, the queue was short and very little people boarded the bus. Look over at other buses, it's very quiet also. I guess it must be bcoz of the ZoukOut happening that night.

Sunday Drew Nas Sharon Aini Ainee came to my house for lunch. Mum cooked one of her speciality, laksa! Mum's another speciality is lontong. But she have been cooking lontong dunno for how many times. So it's time for a change! For the past decades, she have been cooking lontong for almost all events. So this year onwards, changed! This year raya haji she's going to cook mee siam and roti john! Huahaha... So early plan already! My aunt from malaysia wanna eat my mum's mee siam. So due to her request, mum gonna fulfill it! According to mum, mee siam johor and singapore is different! So my aunt want to eat singapore version of it!

Yesterday was the last episode of Hikmah! One of my favourite dramas. It was from 9.30 to 12 midnight! There will be Hikmah II in March 2007. Sister was at our house to watch together with me. Mum was on leave yesterday! So dinner was best. Sister cooked fish curry - sorry sharon, my sister cook it a day after u all came. Hehehe =) maybe next time can ok!
To indon drama fans out there, especially Dia lovers, a VCD shop in geylang sells DIA VCDs. I saw 12 CDs, but the shop assistant told me it's not completed yet! I told mum to get it for me, but she told me do you have the time to watch it? ok, fine! But will get it!

Anyway my senior manager is very super friendly. He's the type who is not arrogant type. Yesterday while I was on my way to the gents, he passed by me. He gave me a tap and asked me "so long I didn't you for lunch?" "I thought we left you". OK, I'm glad to have such a friendly boss. But he's not my OIC for attachment. My OIC is slightly less friendly though. My rating for Week 2 is 5. Ok, im happy about that! But it's unexpected! I expected to get 4.

Yesterday's lunch was an expensive one! Thanks cher for initiating on to look for a new place to eat. Our usual eating place is far much better! Ok, what I spent for lunch yesterday.

Attachment for was past few days was boring and busy. Why busy? Coz i have a thing to do, which is alot of it! That is database! I had to check that data between 2 servers are consistent! That is why it so boring! Finally ended those yesterday evening. OIC said give him some time to take a look what I have written down! My heart's reply : "take as long as u want?!"
He told me to continue on my web application. I prefer doing it though! This morning did some stuff with the MS SQL server. Tried to create a function. But half way through, my collegue came to explain to me what he have done! The application he was doing is investment related. I'm gonna take over what he have done. He explain this that blah blah blah, talking about bloomberg all that! Ok, I understand the application concept, but not the investment concept. But he explained it well. Ok, thanks garnesh!

Yahoooooooooo weekends is here again! So looking forward to weekends nowadays. Work is super alot. Now is lunch time, so taking a break for awhile! Most of the time I will be doing my work at another desk. Coz to access the database need to use another machine. So while doing work, can't MSN nor surf the net. What I am doing now is database integrity. Checking the millions of records. It's not something interesting to do, and that is draining my energy fast! Anyway, this week been quite busy during working hours. Almost everyday, or even every hour, is database! and the new desk I'm sitting is directly under the aircon. And I'm like frozen almost all the time. Luckily there's such thing as jacket! Now everyday lunch with cher. At the aircon makan place. The dishes there are nice and they change to different ones everyday! According to cher, the vegetable are edible now! Now I go work by bus, instead of the MRT. It takes slightly longer, about 20 minutes longer, compared to MRT. But I save money on concession!

monday as usual, monday blues! went to meet nas after work. passed her my symbian OS book. then had dinner at fork n spoon at toa payoh. the chicken cutlet is nice!

tuesday after work, went to school to attend the d&d meeting. it ended around 11.30. then me, damien, eddie and jean (the northeasterners) share cab to go home. mine was second last to reach. i was super exhausted by then.

Ok, i have finally started my attachment. It's been 1 week past and here's what I can say...

Environment wise, very high-class place. I like =) My office is at 35th floor. But, the place is not so cold. I wonder where to find the aircon control so that I can adjust the aircon. Anyway, it's ok lah. Sometimes its cold, but most of the time its not! I have my own desk, my own comp (machine they call it), my own phone. Staff wise, they seems to be friendly. Not all though, but those I have link r friendly lah. My OIC is also friendly, luckily! He showed me around. Intro me to the senior manager (dept head), and other staff that I are in the same team as me! He also showed me to the staff lounge and gym, it's very nice! Work wise, week 1 was obviously boring. On my day 1, I sat quietly on my desk. Talk a few letters to the guy beside me. Then later the 3 staff sitting behind me came to me. Introducing themselves. I was shocked initially! hahaha... week 1 was the warm up phase. The OIC gave me an overview about investments, I was like HUH?! My rating given by my supervisor is 5 over 5. That's good! Haha.....

today we went lunching at aini's place. Pity here of having lunch alone all the way. So, we, the nice friends - me, cher and drew, went over to her place at orchard. Ate at S11 there. Have aircon, like not having one. We ordered at some indon stall. Stallholder ~> Aini "aiya bu'?" Ok, nvm... i just smiled lah eh!

Last weekend is quite filled up. Saturday went to darul ihsan with mum to meet cik shah. Then we went to mustafa. Mum wanna buy some health supplements. Went back at around 7. Then rest for awhile, left home with mum n cik baker to go bro sham's dinner wedding invitation at punggol. Took cab, and together with the taxi driver we got lost! Punggol is sucha new area which I seldom go. Finally we got the place! It's a very nice place! As usual lah, new areas like punggol, sengkang and sembawang, they have nice flats! The wedding is very nice. What can you expect? Bro sham is the boss of the wedding company - sham enterprise. So everything was fantastic and rarely seens kind of designs.

Sunday went to the IT show at expo with sister. Me and sister intend to sign up for internet service as my existing contract have ended long time ago. But the queue lines were super long, according to the sales lady there it's about 4 hours. So we didn't sign up anything. Then went to john little mega sale. The queue was long also. What we spent there was on food and drinks! Then went for dinner, it was around 9 by then.

Happenings last weekend...
Went my last jalan raya with 16 other frenz of mine last weekend. We rented rented 2 MPVs. Me and idham drove it. Saturday at 9am, we were collecting our cars followed by collecting our membez. We reach our first house at about 11+. We covered 8 houses in all. Last house was about 11+ at nite. Sunday, gathered my membez at about 9 o'clock. As expected, some were late. Reached our first house at arnd 9. Sunday we managed to cover about 10 houses. At 12:15am, we were at our last house getting ready to leave. He were all go exhausted! Then sent them back home and my bed finally got me at about 3+. Will upload some pix later.....

We got a super major lost while heading for abg noh's place at dover. That's the most unforgetable memories for this year jln2 raya with my frenz! It's super lost!

My cam batt went flat on the second day. Thanks to them who kept on viewing the pix. Luckily when the batt flat, it were still able to snap pix. but we can't view the screen.

Went to return the car this morning. Was suppose to meet the guy before 7. But was overslept =) Met at 8 instead. But everything's fine.

and now...
I'm very sleepy. Tomorrow there's seminar at suntec. Don't feel like going. But have to go! Was so shocked to know that participants have to pay $700 - $900 per person to attend the seminar. And the school going to pay for 3 of us! So Shocked!!!

Next week, attachment starts! =) So means everyday formal wear start too =(. So gotta buy some MORE formal attire. Going this to buy it this weekend i guess =) MORE shirts! MORE pants! ~~MORE belts!~~ MORE socks! ~~MORE shoes!~~

my mp3 is gone! seriously, i'm sad about it! =(

i hafta find a replacement for it..... whether a stand-alone mp3 player [creative zen v] or hp + walkman function [sony ericsson w850i]? will think about it..... my samsung d900 doesn't seems to be a suitable replacement for my mp3. firstly, no memory card! if wanna buy one, might as well buy a w850i and get a free 1gb memory stick duo. secondly, batt will call me to charge at an earlier time! now when mp3 function is not used, the batt can last about 1 & half day. if use mp3, how long can it last?

anyway, i felt feverish from yesterday. yesterday i felt so restless. reach home, the toilet's calling! bathe all that, switch 'on' the tv, and i lie down! i can feel my whole body is warm. so, i conclude i'm down with fever. ate some medication. after resting for about 30 minutes, i started to do some stuff on the comp.

today's virtually my last day of fypj. next mon - wed will be semiar at suntec. wed coming back to sch around lunchtime to attend the ipp briefing. my liason officer (a.k.a ipp supervisor) will be meeting us on thursday instead of wednesday.

project, all done. today gonna see what wee kiat have done for the documentation. other than that, i don't feel like doing work today. but still, hafta!

yesterday's return home journey is the most relaxed i must say. i was like semi-unconcious while enjoying the songs in my mp3. from yck interchange to the bus stop before hougang point, i was in that state. but it changed after that. why? bcoz people start moving out of the bus, and accidentally ~~touched~~ hit me. So i'm alerted!

just now i was suddenly attracted to the sony ericsson w850i! but i don't want to buy it..... i still love my samsung d900!

and now i realised, my project there's still alot of be done! and i'm blogging now..... ^o)

Mum recently told me there's an offer to Genting... So, that's a signal, she wanna go! I also wanna go!!! I love <3 going on holidayz! My last holiday was... to... KL! Last year probably. But how am I going if there's no holiday period for me?! I also feel like going to Perth or Melbourne. Last time mum wants to go taj mahal. But it was quiet recently.....

Project, coding done! What is left is..... powerpoint slides (half-way done), documentation (wee kiat starting on it) and improvement on GUI! For me, fyp left tomorrow and friday only. NExt week, seminar at suntec from monday to wednesday. thursday 9am fypj presentation! hopefully and i must make it on time! i have..... 3 alarm clocks in my room. plus handphone and house phone, equals to 5 alarm clocks! plus mum, six total!

this morning, sister send me to school. as in, she's from my place. took a cab, send me first, then she go to her own house at toa payoh. taxi fare is expensive now! $4 booking fee + $2 peak period + $2.50 starting moment in the cab = $8.50! So the moment we placed our butt on the taxi cushion, it's already $8.50!

Today is my sister's b'day! So we had a suprise for her.....

Left school and on the bus, I called my mum. Asked my mum to get a cake for sister. I can't coz I'm meeting her soon. So my mum agreed to get one.

Part 1 : Getting the cake into the house, without sister knowing it!
Near 11pm (time mum usually come back), my handphone rang! Look at the screen, "Mum"! Means she's coming home and I have to get my sister to stay in my room so that my mum enter the house, rush to the kitchen and put the cake in the fridge!

While I was on the way to the washroom, sister was opening the fridge door! GOSH! :@
I rush to my room to call sister into the room so that she can't touch a box laballed "POLAR" in the fridge. Soon I hear.....

So sister go back to the room. But the problem is, she already know there's likely to be a cake in the fridge!

That was the small celebration we had! Yesterday after school, met sister at hougang interchange. Then we went for dinner at compass point. I had my favourite hokkien mee. Then we walk around at metro, courts, and some art shops (my sister likes spending there!).

Last friday, went to Ikea! With aini nas and ainee... I love shopping at Ikea! Buying stuff to improve my room, my house and not forgetting..... my toilet!!! bought a few stuff for my mum. We were like already married people. Buying home stuff.... like jugs, weighing machine, rugs, etc.....

Last saturday, my open house! It was raining heavily... The good point is, it's cooling. The bad point, my friends were wet! Woke up at arnd 7 to do preparation stuff! From 7 to 2, worked almost non-stop! From washing about 20 plates to vacuuming the floor. My last guest left at about 8:30pm.

Last sunday, went to asilah's place. suppose to meet them at boon lay (station at the far-end of the westbound east-west line). Stayed there for about 4 hours. Watched take the lead there. Just knew asilah have a little brother. i pity the brother..... u know, i know!

This week, gonna do compilation of our project for today. Doing validations where necessary. Have to do documentations and powerpoint slides. Having a seminar next mon to wed at suntec. Thursday will be my fyp final presentation. Friday, rest day I assume. Probably photo-taking session. Then bye! bye! to fypj!!! Huahaha.....

Last friday after school, sister 'n' me intend to go Ikea. But I'm going there too this tuesday..... So we divert our way to walking around toa payoh central only. Had dinner at LJS. Have a glance at my new workplace too.....

Saturday, went to the bank with mum in the morning. The consultant took so long to talk to us. Then mum was irritated coz she hafta sign lots and lots and lots of documents! Then had lunch. Off to work. started work at 3pm. Reach there at about 2:30pm. Was early! Was trained on the new procedures, blah3. Then evening went for dinner with sister at KFC. Tried the fish & chip there.

Sunday, work start in the morning. Work suppose to end at 5. But the one taking over me called to say he's coming later at 6. So OK, fine since I have no other plans. It was 6:30, he called saying he's at Orchard?! GOSH! He telling that to someone he don't know? Then I asked him "You are still at Orchard?". "In the cab..." he replied. Haiz!!! Then went for dinner with mum and sister at swensens'. Had chicken baked rice and frosted choclate malt (i think that's the name). Mum had chilli crayfish pasta and sister had fish 'n' chip. Then took cab straight home. We were tired. Me 'n' mum were from work!

Yesterday I was very tired! After days of not getting enough rest... So hurrily rush back home, while drop by at hougang mall to get some stuff. When I was right in front of my door, I dig-up my bag to search for the house key. And...

It's not there!!!!! No one is at home..... m===O

So I have to wait till about 9. While waiting, I went to heartland mall at kovan (hougang street 21). Intend to buy a sandal. So went to eWorldOfSports and Sportslink. I was attracted to a nike sandal. It's nice! $70 over..... But, I just didn't have the feeling to buy it, even though it's nice!

Then back home!

Then it was 10:45pm, mum's back from work. I had 'kueh tat' [pineapple tart] for dinner.

Mum changed her mind. She wants to go JB this weekend..... So I'm waiting for my work schedule to see how...

then went to darul ihsan to meet cik amasha. then spent some time there. ate 2 slices of canadian pizza for dinner there...

then went for lunch with nas 'n' aini. Had lunch at swensens' ~> my favourite & my mum's favourite! I had fish 'n' chip and a scoop of sticky chewy chocolate. Then went to popular to do some shoppings. BUT... didn't shop anything.

yesterday... was quite busy, outside school! did some coding in the morning just before going for break at mac. had only hot fudge sundae 'n' apple pie. on diet, so called... then went to submit form at hgtc. Followed by meeting sister at toa payoh. She treat me at swensens'. I had breaded chicken and she had curry chicken baked rice. We got quite a number of free stuff ~> soup, soft drink, 1 scoop of cookie & cream + chocolate chip cookie. I ordered sticky chewy chocolate, my childhood favourite!, and we got another dessert free! So sister took banana split, my chidhood hatred...

today... now in formal attire! i dun like to wear formal lah... short sleeve i don't mind. but loooong sleeve! i like brad hopkins long sleeves. But both brad hopkins [maroon and light grey] went missing when I need them most! End-up wearing my blue attire. having an interview at GIC later. after that intend to go DI.....

project wise... coded 'personal' part on monday and did part of 'family' yesterday. Today going to continue on 'family' right after this!

work wise... been relocated to toa payoh branch. my workplace friend kok meng is relocated to yishun. sad sad... having good people going away! my workplace ppl have been helpful though..... especially this raya period, I can't go to work!

btw this weekend will not be going Kota Tinggi + JB. Mum gotta work! And somemore it's gonna be my first time at the new branch. So meeting my boss there.....

Last weekend went quite a number of visitings... I was hired by my parents to be a day's driver to go beraya. I think the whole of this month I won't be working, but going beraya instead. This weekend going Kota Tinggi + JB for beraya over there. My aunt is having a function there, 'Khatam Al-Quran'. So going there on sat and back on sun. How to work? Anyway she also just had an 'extreme make-over'.

Yesterday was busy coding the 'Personal' part of my project. After not doing coding for a few months, I have no mood to code. But since it gonna affect my grades, then I shall do it "almost unwillingly".

Yesterday the msges she sent made my day..... After not getting any msges for the past few days, finally her name appeared in my inbox! =)

Today, going to do MOoORE codings! So lazy lah... This morning I was so shocked to see Zhen Chong (my Tanglin Club working partner) at the bus stop near my house. I knew he stayed around hougang, but didn't know we are on the same side of hougang..... Today 72 was super really packed! And the journey was a prolonged one for me today! Btw there's PCK today! Hohoho...

Tomorrow there's a seminar in school. I don't enjoy seminars unfortunately =( also having my potential employer for attachment interview at GIC (Government of Singapore Investment Corperation) at Robinson.

today i was late! and mr gary lim was already waiting for me since before 8:30am! anyway... lucky he wasn't angry! haha =) looking at my smiling face will make anyone smile even though they were angry to hell b4.....

the moment i alighted 72, i walk super fast non-stop. coz while in the bus hendy SMSed me telling gary lim is here!

had hotcake + sausage again for breakfast... ate in school with SITclub people this time round.

today there are people coming over to my place for raya... tomorrow sri is inviting us [nypsu] over to her place. but stiill dunno whether i'm going or not lah..... coz will be going some houses with my family. and my niece also can't go!

i designed for drew a new stamp on his poster! the stamp contain dental equipments, and also some hardware stuff like hammer and plyer. hahaha... just to disturb him!

just now my potential IPP company called me, GIC : The Singapore Government Investment Corporation, asking me to go for an interview next ~~tuesday~~ wednesday. Still waiting for an email response from my project supervisor.

anyway about my project, connecting to the oracle server is still a problem! this morning mr gary lim came to see and help us out, but the problem doesn't seems to be solved! so the solution he gave is to code it, send him and he will test for us, then he will tell us the outcome. that sounds troublesome and time-consuming man! divided the tasks between me and wee kiat. I divide the tasks into 2 parts. then we had difficulty assinging who should do which part. so i turn over the papers. hendy handover to both of us! that's it.....

This morning, is the first time I divert my way away from school. Left my house with sister. She wants to go to the market. When I glance my watch, it's already 8:15! So I am quite confident that..... I will be late! Will reach around 9. Actually by 8:45 I must be in the lab already. So if I reach around 9, I will be awarded 1 demerit point. But if I reach at 9:29, I will also be awarded 1 demerit point. So, to make full use of the time, we went for breakfast at mac. I had hotcakes + sausage and she had big breakfast! Then off to school while she to the market.

Clocked in at around 9+. Do some typing, check email all that, it was time for breakfast with them. Went to south for breakfast. I only had one packet of wedges coz my stomach was still full with hotcakes. Sat there for about 2hrs..... Then went to cheers to shop for tit-bits. But didn't buy any.....

About my project, I'm still stuck with Oracle. My comp (being a client), can't connect to the Oracle server using the new programme my sup gave us. So till now, I'm still waiting for him to be here to rescue us and also let us start our coding. For as long as the database can't be connected, I will not be able to start coding! And that's driving me crazy being bored in the lab!

Today I designed a few hari-raya-related poster using Adobe Photoshop. I had also wanted to learn professionally to using that powerful software. Now my knowledge about it Adobe Photoshop is still very low, compared to aini! First 2 posters for my open house. Then posters for Darul Ihsan Hari Raya Tour, one is english and one is in malay. The malay one sounds very very malay. As in using the words like "anda" all that..... Have to be formal as the recipients aren't my friends =) I thought of putting the poster up for comments from great commenters from my cliqs, but I'm worried my friends (who don't understand english) thought I'm inviting them over. Coz the date is not confirmed yet.....

Tentatively, it'll be on 4 Nov (2nd week of raya). But heard my aunt in malaysia is having a function over at her place. So, maybe cannot on the 4th lah. So the next possible date would be on the 18 (4th week of raya). So will update that! But my cliqs [drew, sharon, aini, nas, cher, ang ainee] will be on 4th week or 5th week, depending on drew's condition. It doesn't really matter if it's no longer raya week... what's important, they come and enjoy the food! huahaha =)

this weekend will be going to my relative house and ustazah jamaliah's place. 11 n 12 nov going beraya with my friends most probably, altogether 10 (8 adults n 2 kids). I'm will be their unpaid driver, driving them around..... So that's the plan for this year's raya!

Btw, yesterday went to beraya at aishah faqeh's place at bedok. After school, took mrt to khatib with nas. Then took the bus, number 30-something, to pasir ris ris, also with nas. Then took mrt to bedok, but this time without nas. The journey was occupied with chit-chatting. Met Ihsan at bedok MRT around 7:15 like that. Both of us were late coincidentally... Went to faqeh's place. drink ~ talk ~ watch tv ~ watch people ~ shake hands ~ take pix ~ eat! that's what we do... she have a brand-new renovated house. "ingat salah rumah....." haha... =D then reached home at around 11+... At home, settle down... Take with mum n sister about our raya plans. Then tido time. As usual, I will have difficulty sleeping. Toss to the right~ Toss to the left~ Open my eyes, i'm still there not yet in my dreamland!

Yesterday was Hari Raya =)
So to those who I have say "Maaf Zahir & Batin", here's for you : "Maaf Zahir & Batin k..."

This year I didn't buy any baju raya. But I'm not sad about that coz I still love my last year's & last 2 year's baju kurong! So it doesnt really matter lah actually...

As usual went to the mosque in the morning. Went wif cik baker n abg jamal. The mosque was very packed! Very! My slipper torn half way to the mosque. Argh! So I had trouble walking properly with a torn slipper!

In the morning, it was as usual. Family feast! Ask for forgiveness! Etc3... Then people start coming. Azura's family was as usually first to arrive. She look sweet 'n' pretty! Took some pix! Zura, send me the pix k! Then followed by some other families. The last family who came was at around 7. They were from Malaysia. So, expected! That's all for yesterday..... I was like the waiter for the whole day. Serving drinks, food, desserts... Sister was busy in the kitchen. Topping up gravies, topping up this that.....

One thing that made us unhappy was, the camera batt is low. And the charger is nowhere to be found! ArrRRggHHH!!!

There's open house at faqeh's place today. So going there after FYP. Most probably going with salwa..... At bedok, so far away from school!

This weekend going for more raya visitings! Will be off from tanglin club i guess... Intend to invite my friends soon. But dunno which date yet lah~ Maybe on the 2nd week of raya, that's 3rd nov! My cliqs n class will be on the 4th week...

Went dental appointment yesterday. The bus ride was so long... Took 851 from school. The bus go to Bishan area... Bugis... Chinatown... End up being late for dental appointment, reach at 1:45. But end up waiting also. Was given the new retainer. This retainer has a spring in it. Otw back, there was a traffic jam at little india. I think it's becoz today is Deepavali. Worn the retainer to till just b4 break fast. had chicken rice for break fast.

This weekend's plans...
Today ~> Going geylang today with my parents later. Hopefully to get to meet a nice baju kurong later! For the past years, I bought at AC collections or Miss Saigon. But this yearm I didn't like any of their designs there =(

Tomorrow ~> Sister is coming over to my place!!! Going to help us to get ready for raya. Cook this, cook that... Clean this, clean that... Hang this, hang that... Paste this, paste that...and so on..... While I most likely be going out to break fast with Hanaf and 'Fem'. After so long not meeting them. But hopefully 'Fem' is not working tomorrow!!! Called him just now, he'ss off to work lah!

Monday is coming. Mr Gary Lim is also coming back... I and Wee Kiat haven't start anything on coding to deal with the database. How to do if it can't run? Even asked help from lecturer / student, also can't help. Google it, can't seems to find a right solution!

last weekend
saturday was a memorable break fast at samar restaurant. we enjoyed the ~~turkish~~ middle-eastern food there... wanted to buy chocolate tuffle, but not available. and something which was a down point is, it's not airconditioned there =( something which I really don't expect!

monday
went to the clinic early in the morning. got 2 days off... after that, went JB with mum straight. went to mak ngah's house. then went to city square and komtar to shop for raya stuff. bought quite a number of kueh. also bought kek lapis at our usual shop~> season.

tuesday
woke up late, around noon. then went to school to catch the bus to vivocity for our IMF appreciation dinner. Vivocity was well built, except the colour is dull ~> white! didn't got to explore much coz when we reach there, announcement was made to hurry as the GOH is arriving soon.

i'm sure most of us expected to be served with 9- or 6-course dinner. shockingly!!! we were given 3 FoodRepublic coupons. it was held at the atrium, open-air. so more less we enjoyed the haze there...

back to school. as usually bored~ had D&D '07 meeting at 8pm. ended around 10... the meeting was fun! i enjoyed D&D meetings!

same also, as usually bored~ but revamped my blog... changed it's skin to a brand new one! managed to book the NS medical check-up. it's somewhere in mid-december for my check up... bought a earphone yesterday to replace my existing one! i prefer to use in-ear type. also typed out the meeting minutes of yesterday's meeting!

there's dental at 1:30pm. so, at 12noon i can say "bye.. bye...". again met edwin chua [SU] at 72. we took the same bus as yesterday!

Had dental appointment yesterday... Left school at abt 12 as my appointment was at 1:30pm. Reach there, took my queue number. Then went to level 4 to look for drew. But he is no where to be seen... Then at about 2+, i number was flashed. Then it was as usual, lie down on the dentist's machine. And she starts experimenting with my teeth. Teeth moulding was taken!

After that, went to my meet my sister to take some VCDs and give her stuff back to her.

Then went back straight home. After settling down, switched on the TV. Intend to watch the VCD actually. But suria was playing a nice drama. Then I watch the drama instead. VCD later also can watch. After that, felt sleepy half way... Soon into my wonderland!

Break fast quite late yesterday. Coz I sleep and woke up only at about 8+ like that. No one was at home yesterday. So, I woke up and attacked the kitchen with the things my mum cooked.

Then later, replaced my old printer with printer.

Then it was VCD time. Watch it till abt 1 o'clock. It very sleepy already. Usually when I took a nap in the morning, I won't feel so sleepy late at night. But I think due to my short of rest lately, that's why I feel quite tired everyday.

My next dental appointment is next monday at 10:30am. Having a new set of retainers on monday! Mum wants to go JB soon on a weekday. Bcoz weekends will be jammed-up at the causeway. But weekedays, everyday in fyp lab 8 to 6. How ar?! They should have a few days off lah... like 4 or 5 days leave for us!

Soon I have to google for "photo taking poses". Coz I'm short of poses for the daily photo taking~ Hmmmm... How ar?!

Something I really wanna have... Something I have been wanting to have! Something I already have... That's my PSP!!! Bought it last week... So I have been experimenting the PSP last week and slept quite late last night playing the games. Bought a 2GB memory stick for it too... The graphics of the PSP is power! Can play games, store mp3, videos and also photos... Can also surf net wirelessly... There's software we can download for free to use MSN on it. But i haven't download it and may download it later...

after tanglin club, attended the majlis iftar at darul ihsan. met alot of friends there... friends when i was 5, 6, 7... now 20! there's alot of food there! nothing much happened on saturday!

after tanglin club, went straight to haig road - my favourite hawker centre. nice food! but environment not so nice though~ booked a table for my family. I was entertained by my mp3 and smsing. If not, I may be dead of boredom! Finally they arrived...

I'm so bored now!

Yesterday I didn't go to school. Was on MC for 1 day. Had muscle cramp in the wee hours while I sleeping. DAMN! it was so painful~
Actually there are ohter reasons for not going to school. Yesterday break fast I ate very little. Had a cup of iced milo and a cup of bandung. I was so thirsty! But I ate only 2 sticks of old chang kee fishball sticks. when I reach home, i didn't have the thought of eating. dunno why...

Anyway, today is a boring day! woke up at 9+ this morning. around 9:10. Bath, got ready, style my hair. End-up reaching the bus-stop at 10:20am. OMG! I'm going to be late... Luckily 154 was turbo today. Next, waiting for 105 was that long, but it's quite crowded tohught. Finalyl clocked in at 11:03:56hrs. Was nearly 4 minutes late. Nvm about that!

Tomorrow's childrens day! So wishing all my fellow juniors, frenz and YOU...

And we are about 3 weeks away from Raya! Quite excited for it! Mum already ask when to go buy kueh2 raya. We usually buy it at JB. This year also! How to go JB when FYP is from 8:30am to 6:00pm everyday, 5:30pm on fridays. What should I do? Weekends traffic jam will be a challenge across the causeway!

Raya clothing also need to buy. Even though I still have 1 suit of last year's which I still have not worn it. Guess this year going to buy 1 or 2 only.

monday
reach school preety early. about 8 reach already. bcoz i was driving... then at about 10+ went to out return the car. it was raining so heavily in the morning, that I have poor visibility of the traffic.

tuesday
after school, went to J8 with drew, sharon, ai nee, aini, nas and neo to break fast and celebrate ai nee's birthday. break fast at LJS. ordered the 4 fish 4 chicken + other accessories set. they called it Ramadhan (fasting month name in Islamic calendar) set. I had 1 fish and 1 chicken. The chicken is very very small sey... And I had the hersheys chocolate pie as dessert. then went to jalan2 around J8. look around for shoes and bags for the gals... followed by photo session at a neo print machine which can accomodate all of us. But neo refuse to take despite several warnings to join. LoL

after that, went to swensens for the birthday celebration. We wanted to oreder an earthquick and share together. BUT! our tables just don't allow it. Our group were cut into halves and seperated by a thin wall that does not allow us to merge tables. So I sat with drew, chermaine and neo. We order topless 5 plus some other toppings. The makciks --> aini & cher were our representatives to fill-up the feedback forms. We trust they are able to provide good choices for the ticks...

wednesday...
reach school only, kena meet mr gary lim. I shall not elaborate on that. when going home, nas met her best friend. dunno what's her name. makcik nas and her friend sat down while me steadily stand-up. for break fast, had a snickers bar in the bus. I will definitely reach home late for break fast.

today...
spent the first 4 hours in the lab doing powerpoint slides for monday's critique session. we kena wear formal and prepare powerpoint slides. so i prepared 26 slides for 2 projects. i love doing powerpoint slides ar~ dunno why! below are some of the slides...

and for the next 3.5 hours, I don't wat to do..... boredom~

i wanna review my samsung d900:
good points

1) wallpaper will dynamically changed (when the screen goes to standby or something), the wallpaper will change. so atlaeast i wont keep on seeing the same wallpaper. but i can also change the setting to stick to only 1 pic.

2) the phone is very slim and light-weight, just like me! i like... hahaha =)

3) as usual, Samsung phones have nice G.U.I

4) the camera is good [3 megapixel]. takes nice pix...

5) the SMS have this function where when they come across some picked words, like bus, it will show an animated bus graphic instead of the word "bus". provided "read as vivid msg" is enabled lah.

6) Melody + Vibration function where it vibrates and play the ringtone when some one calls (not SMS)

7) the body is not prone to scratches are it have matte finishing

bad points

1) battery life is quite short - about 2 days w/o charging. luckily i don't use it as my mp3 player. if not, maybe by the time I reach school, I bar of the battery is off.

2) ringtone is quite soft ~ can't hardly hear in a shopping mall environment
[not really a problem as it have ringtone + vibration function]

yesterday...

my family had our first break fast (buka puasa) at chai chee seafood restaurant. my bro-in-law belanja us. the main highlight to yesterday's break fast was chilli crab which I craved for it since during my IMF duties. when we reach, we saw alot of people queueing at one of the bazaar at Masjid Kassim. eagerness, everyone of us went to see what's happening. then, here's what we discovered..... they were selling air katira. it must be nice i think! we end up buying some kueh and bottled drinks for sahur tomorrow. then we went to the restaurant. we were greeted cheerfully there with waiters welcoming us. i've never felt that experience before at that restaurant. btw, there's also another restaurant which have the words chai chee in it. it's the kampung chai chee restaurant. which is also located on the same stretch of road as the chai chee seafood restaurant. i haven't went to the kampong chai chee restaurant though.

after break fast, we went to shop for awhile at bazaar geylang serai. we intend to go to kampong glam after geylang serai, as I was driving - so transport wise no problem. but due to some problems, we divert our way back home. at the geylang serai bazaar, i scan through to look for outstanding baju kurong for my hari raya attire. as usual, i will go to 'miss saigon' and 'AC collection' to look at their designs. I didn't fall for any yesterday. So I didn't buy any.

then it's time to go back home! i drove to my sister's house. then...

mum say : kak, kenape tak tidor rumah mak malam ni?!?!?!
translation : why aren't you sleeping at our house today?!?!?!

so we only passed by my sister's house and drove back to our home sweet home...hougang.

at home, after resting for about 45 minutes, my sister and I went to Al Iman restaurant at Geylang Lorong 1. My favourite prata place. We went to buy some food for sahur tomorrow, and also to have supper. Bought some prata, briyani and bee hoon goreng... That's all for yesterday!

sahur was at 5 this morning. ate a piece of egg prata which we bought yesterday.

today i guess going to have quite a number of stuff to do! after much relax... but now I'm waiting for my projectmate to talk about it. coz Mr Gary Lim had already explained to him.

IMF is over. Now is back to work in school. Today's my first day back in school. Had lunch at Mac just now.

I want 2 things:
- eat a meal at BK
- PSP (Playstation Portable)
Did some research on PSP this morning. Research on the features and most importantly, the price$. Intend to have one, to entertain myself.

IMF 2nd last day

Tomorrow gonna be the last day of my IMF duties and thursday will be back to work in school. Missed them in school. Hahaha

Today my duty was abit different from my usual duties. Today my duty was to ferry the delegates from Suntec to Esplanadeon 19-seater Comfort buses (small buses). They are having a reception there, including fireworks which I got to see only alittle bit of it. And duties ended late today. Reached home at about 11:30pm.

Security at suntec is really tight! Even wanna go toilet have to show our security pass. And the shopping centre there havevery little shoppers walking around if to be compared to normal days...

Tomorrow reporting time is at 2:00pm. Will be going out with my mum at 12:45pm. And I will be doing my normal route 'G3 SUNTEC'as usual.

I just checked my results!!!Conclusion : I didn't do well =(No As, No Distinctions! =(Module I did worse : Internet system security & admin whivh I got 'C' (broke my heart)Internet & Mobile computing case study (Sem Project) got C+ (expected lah since I didn't do much)The rest are Bs.

Hopefully the fyp & ipp can later boost my GPA higher!!!

IMF duties

Today is the 6th day I’m involve in the IMF as a bus host. Basically what I do is greet, smile and welcome the delegates while they are boarding the bus and chat with them during the journey. And report to the cluster HQ via the walkie talkie the number of delegates onboard. So far I met 2 delegates today, 2 yesterday and 1 the day before yesterday. Yesterday 1 was from England.

Talking to them is very enjoyable.

I’m in the afternoon shift throughout IMF. So I usually report to National Stadium at about 2 to 3:30pm depending on my reporting time lah. And duties will end at about 9+ to 10:30pm latest. The airconditioned tentage can be very cold sometimes. Luckily the tentage is airconditioned. If not, we will have a ‘sauna’ session there under the hot glazing sun.

Mine is route G3 (green cluster). So my route is from Suntec to their hotels (Traders Hotel and The Regent Singapore) then back to Suntec. So if you happen to see the ‘G3 SUNTEC’ signage on the bus, I may be in the bus. Hahaha…

I also got to discover part of the Orchard road which I seldom or never seen before, like Forum, Hard Rock café, Tanglin Mall and other buildings at that area. And seeing the back entrance of the Orchard MRT station.

Usually only my 3rd trip (which is around 7 o’clock) will have passengers onboard. Usually we do 4 trips except when the last trip ends very late (exceed 10:30pm) then we only do 3 trips. So when the trip does not have any passengers, I will end-up talking to the policeman or the bus driver or I will be watching the TVMobile. I watched GAGs (my most favourite comedy show on TVMobile), the CP Prawn Wanton (the advertisement where a chef cook the prawn wanton in an oven) and many other shows. But those 2 are the most frequent item I watched. And I also got the chance to watch Singapore Idol which I seldom watch at home. End up I will ask Dynna for the result. Thank you very much Dynna…

Yesterday and the day before I froze in the bus. But today almost froze…

This morning out of the sudden, I had a terrible flu. Keep on sneezing that I have to wake up. Sneeze sneeze and sneeze non-stop till I bathed. My mum say it may be bcoz of my cats fur. So she say don’t allow the cats into my room anymore… But I like them to accompany me in. When my mum left for work at about 1 o’clock, the ‘boboi’ came to my room, hop onto the side table in my room, and happily fall asleep with the head slanted downwards. Nevermind, I don’t mind him sleeping as long as he is not disturbing me.

Today I ended my duty at 9 o’clock. After that I, Kah Hong, Wei Ming, Jean and Candice went for a bean-curd break at Geylang. I had a glass of soya bean. Btw I don’t like bean curd… Then we go back home and reach home at around 11pm. Had a packet of ‘nasi pattaya’ – fried rice covered with omellete.

Then check email, friendster, update blog and going to sleep soon I guess…zzZZzzZZzz

Boring...

I'm so hungry now... What I ate today : 2 slices of bread with scrambled eggs in the morning and 1 chocolate waffle from Prima Deli after Friday prays just now. Now waiting for visitors to our school. After will be going for lunch. Proper lunch I mean.

I only heat up my chair in the FYP lab for about 2-3 hours only.

Lunchtime, they went North canteen. When I am around, they don't want to go North canteen. Haiz~ Unfortunately wasn't able to join them there. I love North canteen food though... Went to collect my sport shoes, jacket, JJ's plug, Adam's envelope and blah3...

Intend to go NAPFA training today. My gear are ready. My gear is only my sport shoe lah.

Yesterday bought myself a Samsung D900. Got it for about $600+. Sold off my V3x already... Btw, let me share a fact about me. I don't change handphone simply because it just came out. But it's more because I like the features and appearance...

Day b4 Yestersday...

Went to SU office at 2pm. But the rehearsal was postponed to 3:45pm. Anywayz, commissiong is over and I'm no longer the welfare secretary now... But, I'm D&D 2007 secretary. Anywayz I wish good luck and all the best to the 14th EXCO. During commissioning, took quite a lot of photos. Initially I wore a maroon shirt. But when I put the blazer on, it doesnt blend well. So I wear iskandar's white shirt instead. Luckily he brought 2 shirts to SU. So he put on the other shirt which was in black. Commissioning went on smoothly with andrew coming late. Then during commissiong, he left to don't know where. BUT, during refreshments, he re-appeared out of no where...

Drew was caught taking away too much food by Mr Wee. So the consequence is to have his club budget cut. That's a joke btw...

Yesterday...
Went to NTUC scholarship interview. Reach there at about 1:53pm where my interview was at 1:50pm. But the interviewee just before me is still sitting there. So sit down and waited for about 20 minutes to my turn. The moment I step into the interview room, the interviewer start talking about............my hair. Interview went on quite smoothly. They over-prepared myself with alot of questions, but they only ask a few questions. I hope I will get the scholarship.

After that, went back to school. At 4pm was the IMF briefing. Luckily Kelvin Teo told me is at 4pm. At first, I forever thought it was at 6pm. The briefing started at about 4:45pm. The schedule, I like... Coz I'm in the afternoon shift... So... most likely I will be early or on-time to reach the reporting venue. I was really hoping not getting the morning shift coz it will require us to report to national stadium at 6:30 in the morning!!! Much...super much earlier than school time.

After that, D&D meeting at 8pm. But it started slightly later, at arounf 8:05 like that... The meeting is very casual. And this is the first time I'm in a committee with no chairman and vice-chairman. So as of now, we are not having a chairman or vice-chairman. Meeting ended before 8:45pm.

After that met my sister at hougang central for dinner. Ate "nasi ulam". But its like chicken rice. But the chicken is quite huge though...

Today...
I reach early today...at 8 o'clock. It's quite empty at fypj labs... Expected to see sharon around... But I over-expected and didn't see her around.

Had brunch at mac with north-canteen food. As usually, 3 circle tables were joined and I and JJ were trying hard to locate space for ourselves...

FYPJ starts

Finally, we are already in the FYPJ lab. Away from the lecture notes..... But, I'm so extemely bored! My FYPJ.....luckily kena ASP & ASP.Net. Even though I have didn't learn before, but it sounds and looks manageable.

My project is enhancing the web pages for contact management system and e-Recruitment sites. But the database is using MySQL, which I have never touch it before though. Gotta read-up on it. I was hoping they use Microsoft Access...

Yesterday, what I only did for the project part was to transfer the files to my comp. My lab is just beside the corridor. Went cheers 2 times yesterday. Also celebrated nas surprise bday party at SIT club room. Ate a sour strawberry mousse [cake].

Today, another day of boredom. Checked-email, blogging... Luckily today is only half day. Later having the SU commissioning at 2pm. Rehearsal from 2 to 6 <--- ???
And I away from the napfa training today...

Tomorrow will be going to the NTUC scholarship interview at NTUC office near thomson. Interview is at 1:50pm... It was suppose to be today. But the person called to postpone it to tomorrow. After that, gotta come back to school for IMF briefing at 6pm. Haiz~

For the next 2 weeks starting next week, will be involved in IMF duties. Schedule will be out tomorrow... So, will be away from FYP labs =)

Finally, class chalet is over. Almost all my 3 days was well spent. Had BBQ for both nights there. The chalet is very comfortable and very cooLing ;-)

On thursday my nephew from Ipoh arrive singapore. Mum and me went to fetch her.

Yesterday, went to school for IMF uniform collection and important briefing. I expected the working schedule to be out - i'm so excited to know! but it wasn't release yesterday as there are changes to be made. It's now only 8 days away from IMF. And schedule will only be released 3 days before actual event.

After the briefing, went to buy an earpiece for my V3x. Bought it at toa payoh central.

Then back home.

Later will be going to Tekka (little india) with my mum, sister and cousin. My cousin will be going back to her Uni in Malaysia tomorrow...

Btw, I still have not burned my last sem's transhandy project. I thought of buring all my projects all into 1 CD. Will deal with tha when school re-opens.

i finally finish all my papers! hurraaaayyyy..... super happy!!!

internet security was surprisingly easy but advance database was a little bit more challenging than expected. but i think i can pass for both. what makes me worry now is j2me!

yesterday after advance database paper, went to nypsu office to try on the blazer for commissioning. i'm using MM-22. that's the only M size left in the vacant rack! then went to join ai nee, cher and nas for lunch at north canteen. ate my favourite fried macaroni... then went home, slept for 5 hours - to claim back my lack of sleeping hours for the past few days. then later i night, i was having trouble sleeping. that's why i don't like sleeping during the day...

kok meng smsed me this morning asking whether can I cover him this morning, so I covering him now...

flip through the classifieds just now, I thought of working during the comex (IT show). so anyone wanna work too?

i emailed my classmates the chalet update (Last Issue) just now. it's just 4 days away.....

this week... i have 3 quizzes!!! internet security... database... and xml... wah! memory full!!!just database quiz was okay but internet security quiz is ko. those i can't answer, i chose 'true' for most of it. 50 true/false question... no joke... it's 50 questions! even though it's true/false, but still 50 questions man...

yesterday night suppose to be studying database and internet security. reached home at about 4:30pm. then had my Asar after that, chit-chat with my uncle for about an hour over a glass of hot milo and some snacks...

then at night i intend to study. my nephews were suppose to have tuition. so i sit down with them chit-chatting at the study room while waiting for their tutor's arrival. but in the end, their tutor cannot come. so i spent for another an hour talking with them. we talked about poly life and some other stuff... then after that studied database. studied quite alot... while studying, my nephews came into the study room. at first they say wanna accompany me. the first few minutes, everyone were doing their own stuff - i was studying my database... one of my nephew was reading a book... and another playing game on my handphone. after not more than 5 minutes, we started chatting which last about an hour talking our past sweet memories all that... hahaha =) then slept at about 12...

this morning, woke-up at 6:10am... went for Subuh... followed by study database.....

tomorrow will be having xml quiz during lecture. as of now (20:18hrs), i have not even revise single slide. today i feel quite tired... fell asleep in the bus just now otw home from school.
today went to students' union to clear some stationery stuff. bought quite alot of things... after went to toa payoh to switch bus home...

and now... i'm bored!

tomorrow will be going for voiceout!!! going to give drew n sharon some support. if not, i wound't go~ wanna see them singing which i had never seen beforE. alamak...
and i'm the group leader for the internet security case study. today got to know next week submission...style! emailed them on what to do just now... at first glance, the case study seems easy. but dunno ye lah is it really that easy. my group chose biometric security. i, who had never study biology - except those basic human organs, have to do biometric security.

about my k800, 2 things N80 is better. i'm not sure it's bcoz i dunno to use the function or what lah... the first thing is the front camera is only for 3G video call. i tried to use it to take pix, but can't. and another thing i think N80 is better is N80 has wireless LAN. those i things i find out for my 3 days of use. maybe i'm wrong... update more next time...

i intend to change my blogskin skin quite soon... but will do it during my worktime...maybe this weekend, i will be browsing blogskins.com to find nice designs...

and i just got my SE 800 yesterday. nice phone with cool functions like 3.2mp camera, auto focus - very beneficial as i have shaky hands, longer battery life =). another thing is it will auto convert smileys symbols like :) or ;) to nice emoticons (like those in messenger). JJ, i will be returning the USB charger and the little extension soon. thank u very much for your kindness of taking for the those stuff.

today i intend to study for my quizzes. the books are prepared and what topics to read through is all prepared. it's just a matter of when i am going to start..so lazy!!!

when is the holidays coming????

yesterday i spend the night watching mr bean movies, listening to new songs with my numerous nephews at home. after i slept, the watch power ranger - the eldest watching was in sec 2 (if im not wrong).

yesterday was one of the few times I had supper. Cik aziz brought for us fried kway teow. I forgot to make special order - little vegetable pls (much appreciated). I simply don't like vegetables lah... that will remind me cik ahmad don't like tauge (bean sproud).

and mun'im did very well for his exams in ITE. his GPA was 3.5+... so high!!! i hope i can get those figures also... this semester my aim would be getting gpa atleast 3.6 - a little bit higher 3.5

and my braziliano praia black & white (my favourite sandal) was officially torn on 3 July 2006. when u are unwell, i are not in the mood of any nonsence. while i was on my way to the clinic, the sandal torn off. i was like... "alamak! my favourite sandal torn off at the time which I got no mood of any nonsence". then I took the half of the strap (which torn off) and roll it around. while walking, the rolling unwind. haiz!!! anyway luckily I have my brown one. but i still love the design of the black n white type. soon i will be heading down to the shop to look for new designs. and i dunno when will my hawainas sandal will arrive in singapore. since last semester I think I had the intention of buying the sandal.

Today I'm going to trade-in my N80 for SE K800...yeah!
N80 is not sutiable for me. Coz the battery drains quite fast. Before I am on my way home, the battery already flat sometimes. How am I gg to listen to my mp3 and msg? haha...

I got a pretty good deal yesterday. So I'm going to collect it...today!

Anyway, yesterday I went to SU to clear the stationery stuff. OMG!!! I walked from Blk E to shopping arcade for 4 solid rounds, to and fro... At the end, I was so tired!

The day before I tried doing the mobile part of my project. It seems ok, except the database part. I don't know how to import the oledb. Anyway, will be looking for help soon...

Now is already week 12, and about 2 weeks more have to complete them and exam is coming very soon...

1 week of holiday have passed...
and i only had my first rest day...TODAY!

monday i was ill.. got very bad cold and flu. so just rest at home. sleep, eat, bath, sleep routine. hahaha

tuesday i dragged my feet to school to submit Ms Teo the scholarship application form. i wasn't feeling well on that day.

i'm still in dilemma whether to take-up the scholarship or not. coz I will have to be bonded with them after NS for 1 year.
I wanna take bcoz it will ensure a job after graduation. And why I dun want to take is becoz what if I can go Uni? And if I have an opportunity to go for OPP, I can't coz for attachment I gotta be attached to NTUC.
anyway I already submit it... hope I will have a chance to attend the interview...

wednesday i suppose to attend the culture3 meeting. But didn't attend because I'm still unwell... So rested at home...

Left SU at 10 yesterday, after a 2-hrs discussion session with jean, eddie, candice & huiying about revamping SU. 1.5 hours is crap and 0.5 hours more is serious discussion...

On the way home, thought of buying dinner. I wanted to buy indian nasi goreng [fried rice], but was simply too tired to drop off the bus. I can buy it at AMK central S11, but that would be just too long. So near my place, there's this indian stall. But after buying, gotta catch a bus home...which is about 2 bus stops away...i'm too tired to walk lah... So at the end I decided, not to go. Anyway I'm ok sleeping with hungry stomach... Which is a norm =)

But at home, my uncle offered to drive me to an indian restaurant... So we bought a packet of nasi goreng + tea ice and he bought roti prata + tea... Brought back home to eat coz there wasn't a parking slot there...

After a long time not updating my blog...

Year 3 sem 1 is full of projects and assignments for me. almost every module has an assignment or project... and i chose not to be the semester project leader bcoz there are so many module assignments, i'm doing quite a number of SU stuff this semester and some other stuff...

Anyway... I too excited to go escape theme park with my lovely classmates next weekend. It have been so long I didn't step into the theme park. I love going to theme parks by the way... My wish to go to the six flags theme park in california =)

Anyway... for end-of-semester class outing, already more than 50% chose chalet. So will be discussing this with drew later.

2 more weeks to term break... I n my frenz will be going KL for 3 days only. Coz some of them are working and stuff...

Today will be going to mdm haijar's wedding invitation at tampines at around 11.

Happy 20th Birthday Day to me...haha =)
Went out with my sister and bro-in-law the whole day. First went for lunch at chai chee restaurant. Then we went to tampines mall, imm, sim lim tower and much much more... We spent really alot. The worse scenario was stuck at IMM's carpark exit. We park our car at the 5th floor. Went wanna go out, there alot of cars also going out. So I kept on cutting queue line. Got one time the driver was looking else where when a car in-front of him move ahead. So I cut the line... Huahaha =)

Finally got off the car park about 45 minutes later...

Sunday [apr 30]
Early in the morning, I already dressed up. Wanna collect uncle rafi's toyota picnic mpv... Arrive at his place, he wasn't at home. Not having him at home is not really a problem. But!!! The car is also not there.... what the?!?! So waited for him... About an hour later than he came back. So I took the car from him and off to nasreen's place. Fetched all of them [our cliques ~ how to spell ar? ~ nas, ai nee, cher, drew, sharon, aini...

Went to a few places ~ bugis junction, esplanade and lau pa sat. outside esplanade was really relaxing!!! Celebrated my and sharon's bdae at esplanade. i really didn't expect to celebrate it... coz i know we gonna celebrate sharon's bday! then suddenly after they [incl me] sang for sharon, they sang for me. i was like so shocked! anyway... thank you guys!!! Happy Super Belated 19th Birthday to Sharon.........

Monday [may 1]
went out with my mum and sister. went to bugis junction... bought a bag. i like a renoma bag, a fx-creation bag and tatonka bag. so was considering which one to buy... i didn't take renoma bag coz i don't like the material. the material if kena my cat fur, it will stick. the fx-creation bag was a little too small for me. so i didn't take it. finally i took tatonka bag =) also bought some tops to complete my shopping...

this week was quite tiring and bored!!!

monday
had only 1 hour of lesson. tat's lecture... for xml, we didn't know it was 'e'. so we (me, cher, nas, ai nee, adam, jj) went for the pract. So while on the way to DCL (level comp lab ~ our xml lesson's there), we saw our tutor mr jason outside. so we wave, he also wave... in the lab, we waited waited and waited. at the end we got to know that it was 'e'. so we all dismissed from there.

tuesday
1st day of club crawl and 1st day of nyp super host. i was like excited to see the contestants hosting and performance during club crawl. throughout the day, leonard 'jaga' the room for our super host. i can't imagine if i'm the one sitting there. pity him! super hosst went on well for that day... i felt really tired for day 1. i reach home at 8. i reach home... bath... then ZzZzZzzzz

wednesday
2nd day of club crawl & nyp super host. even though i slept early the day before, but still.....! i overslept. huahaha...

super host also went on smoothly...

fadli was the winner for nyp super host. nas, pls blunt ur voice abit. it's too sharp lah... there's better chance of winning i think.

thursday
lesson was at 4pm, instead of the scheduled 9am. the lessons from 9 to 3 was 'e'... yeah!!!
the only lesson we had was the project module. so we were required to form-up in groups of 5. so from it0415 we have 6 of us. so, there's a problem to be solved there... i hope to be in the group with them. wanna ask ms fua (our project supervisor), but she wasn't around... so we still have not yet form our grouping!!!

friday
was late for comms skills. the moment i step into the tutorial room, it was already 10:21 and ms kamalam ask "What's your name?". next week onwards, gonna be in the room by 10 sharp!
and we gonna have alternate 'off' for our comms skills. so next week, we gonna have no lesson. but the week after next, we gonna have 2 hours of comms skills instead of 1 hour.

1st week of lesson, got project already. that is writting a resume, cover letter and one more thing which i forgot... grace is in the same class as us. and we gonna have to form groups of 4 to do anoyher project. interestingly, she gonna make us draw lots to form groups!!!

saturday ~ yesterday
went to bedok to buy some stuff with my friend. saw my friend from wild wild wet and another nyp make-up artiste pres, i think her name is siti.

monday
had super host meeting in school... pathetic that only 5 people came, out of 13 committee. but it was quite expected as quite a number orientation are going on. anyway, we manage to clear a lot of stuff.

got my time table on monday. i'm quite happy with the time table, except for thursday's lesson. mon to thu starts at 9am, and friday at 10am. The longest day is thursday, 9am to 6pm. Just for everyone to know..... thursday 9am to 6pm, we have the same lecturer.... totally, I emphasise, TOTALLY no change of lecturer from 9am to 6pm. Luckily we have 2 hours break in the middle.

went for my dental appointment at 3pm. got my new retainer... it's not so hurting luckily =)
not much for tuesday...

wednesday
went to school, to conduct briefing for the contestants. on the way at the walkway, saw iskandar. but didn't talk much coz i was already late. huahaha... reach blk E at 2:10pm. While entering the lift, the contestants called me. when I come out of the lift, there were about hundreds of students. but......they are attending the SBM orientation.

briefing went on smoothly... i explained almost everything!

One thing I’m still not happy about my result is my GPA dropped

One thing I’m still not happy about my result is my GPA dropped by 0.003. I was aiming for 3.5 at least… but it dropped!!! I wanna go uni after poly… But NTU or NUS, still gotta consider. I don’t really know about Uni. Luckily got a lot of volunteers in Darul Ihsan from NTU or NUS. Thumbs up! =)

Anyway I have been having flu & fever intermittently last week. Last Saturday was suppose to send chia feng off at the airport. I was already dressed-up and drove my uncle’s car near TPE. But…felt super so sick. Got a really really bad headache. I think its bcoz I kena the rain in the evening. That’s why lah… Then I thought of buying panadol at petrol kiosk and hope it will cure in a short while. But…I simply felt so sick that I U-turn back home. Lucky that I didn’t style my hair, so when I reach home…I change into home clothes, ate 2 pieces of panadol actifast then zZzZz… I never felt so sick before! My conclusion, that’s the worse. Drew expected me to produce MC for being absent at the airport…what kind of friend is that? Huahaha =)

Last Friday went on shopping with my sister and bro in law. That day was the day I spent most in a single day I think. I drove them around using my uncle’s car. Fetch them in the afternoon… Went for lunch at the new banquet outlet in geylang. The teh-peng (iced tea) is super nice!!! Go try yeah… Ate nasi pataya (my fav) there… After that we went shopping at orchard. Want to buy a havainas sandals, but their new stocks haven’t arrive yet. And the design I want will be arriving don’t when lah… Last time they say end of feb or early march. Now is already april hello…. Where is it? End up buying another sandal from the newurbanmale shop. Also bought a billabong handphone strap at 77th street. After that we went to Parkway Parade. Bought a G-shock watch there… I like a formal jacket (Goldlion brand). I tried, it looks nice on me =) But the price $100+, my sister allow me to buy, but I didn’t want. Coz how often will I use it? The weather here is usually hot… After that went dinner at my fav spot at east coast park food centre. As usual, ordered my favourite satay and nasi pataya AGAIN!!! Then send off my sister and bro in law. Fetch mum at her workplace area… Stop-by at pasar malam in Sengkang. Mum wanna look at the orchid flowers there. Bought 4 pots I think…

The next day, both of them change handphone she… My sister to nokia 7610 (new blue cover) and my bro in law to Motorola white colour, I don’t know the model. Then he’s the type use-then-read. So he didn’t know how to keypad lock. So while around Toa Payoh central, I asked the guy at a handphone shop. Luckily he’s kind enough to teach us.

Yesterday I called the Escape theme park to ask about the inverter and revolution. But… the customer service say they are waiting for the spare parts from the states and will be ready maybe next month. It have been about 2 months away from my class chalet (the day when we went Escape theme park too). Then our free admission ticket will expire in May… Don’t know if it can be ready by then… I pity Drew if he can’t take the opportunity to ride inverter and revolution.

Yesterday night went to Orchard with my sister. I bought 2 stussy bags, one for myself and one for bro in law. My sister doesn’t want. Then had KFC for dinner. But sister wanna have pizza hut instead. So dynna suggest having at Lido, coz we can have pizza hut and KFC under one roof. So we was like search, search and search. Finally we saw it at level 5 of lido. We were like so tired and hungry when reach there. And the place was quite crowded also. Haiz…

Today went to watch Ice Age 2 with Darul Ihsan boys. Altogether, 10 of us… We watch at lido…Lido 2 was the theatre. I only went into Lido 5 before, which was small in size. Lido 2, was so super big!!! I think that’s the largest cinema theatre I sit in before. After that, we went to Borders to browse at some books.Bought KFC for dinner. These few days I just feel like eating KFC. My favourite is cheese fries at KFC.

Tomorrow my mum and I plan to go Jurong point. So the plan is pending confirmation. My mum got facial session in the afternoon. So most likely will go after her facial. And she will be cooking my favourite laksa. Laksa and Lontong is her speciality. So hari raya those who wanna try my mum’s lontong, tell me =)

And I’m very eager to look at my time-table for next semester. And my school will be open in about 2 weeks’ time. Unfortunately aini is going to FI instead…that’s not something nice to hear…No more nice designs… Andrew will be very happy yeah…!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next Tuesday I will be fitted with a new retainer. My mum accidentally threw my existing clear retainer. So now the teeth have move a little, so I have to put-on a metal one instead. I really don’t know how it looks like. I asked the doctor, “there’s no retainer which no need to open one is it?”. I really want a retainer which is like braces, no need to keep on opening. But the answer was unfavourable, “no…”

Result is finally out!!! I passed up! *thumbs up*
My poorest grade was POA, got C!!! Haiz... The best was .Net [ead].
The project got A, as expected!

Anyway, yesterday went to school in the morning. Discuss some things about NYP Super Host with Ms Janette [sao]... then Jean discuss with me on Super Host thing and some SU things.
After that met up my sister, we went to Suntec. One of our favourite hang-around spots. After that, went to Challenger at tampines to collect my PC.

Anyway... NYP Super Host will be during Club Crawl, that's 18 & 19 April at Sports Hall. So for those who wanna join, tag me k!!!

Anyway, later i will be meeting my sister to go compass point later.

2 weekends in Johore

I've spent the last 2 weekends in Johore, at my aunts place in Kota Masai, Pasir Gudang. Bus fare each person is RM4+. Bus journey from Larkin bus interchange is about 3 hours. Haiz...

Anyway, now I'm preparing for the NYP Super Host. So for those who have talents in hosting, please contact me to join NYP Super Host k!!!

This school holiday is quite bored! Been spending a lot of time in Johore... I bought a new printer during the PC show at Suntec, coz my previous printer's printing quality is no no no good!!!

Last saturday I took the RTT (riding theory test), and surprisingly i Passed! Thanks God!

But now... Sigh~ my computer is DOWN. It's now at the Challenger workshop. I miss my comppp...!!!

Tomorrow our results will out!!! I can't wait to see... but worried too...

Exam Matters
OS : Was quite ok... Not a tough as expected! Aiming for...A?B?
SWENG : For me, this is the most toughest paper. Don't think will do well at all. Maybe will get C? No lah... B at least!
HCI : Really put in effort to revise it. The paper was quite ok. Took the whole 2 hours to complete it. Overstudied! Aiming for...A?

Chalet Matters
Spent the last weekend with my lovely it0415ians at costa sands pasir ris.

Day 1 : After the 2-hrs HCI paper, went to buy the food & bbq stuff at hougang festival market ntuc with makciks aini & nas, and also pakcik drew. We shopped on 2 trolleys fully-loaded. Spent $100+, as within our budget.

after that, sent them back to school. they gonna have meeting with sit club. went to friday prays at sallim mattar mosque, the mosque beside darul ihsan. darul ihsan's carpark was really cramp. until i have to park my car at the ramp. later had lunch at darul ihsan, ate nasi briyani.

left home at 3, fetch grace. b4 that, went to top-up my cashcard as it left only $0.30 inside. Fetched grace, straight to costa sands pasir ris. neo & kc was already there when we reach. luckily they reach not long long ago...

later, fetch drew, nas, aini, sharon n cher from pasir ris mrt. wanted to fetch them straight from school, but too many of them. tp smile, i will faint! also fetched jia feng, jason n ai nee from shuttle bus stop. pity them as waiting for the shuttle bus may be a big challenge...

had bbq at nite. eat eat and eat... lots lot of food... aini helped to bbq till was labelled "filipino maid" by denny. hahaha =)

then sharon n cher thought me, jason n chia feng how to play mahjong. i learnt abit... have to form 1 to 4... then match some of them.

then, sent adam, irvin, jj and drew to 7-eleven to buy some drinks and ice at pasir ris central i think.

after that, slept i was too tired.. to you guys, i really really really didn't intend to occupy the whole bed, sorrry that i caused inconvenience!!!

Day 2 : had BBQ breakfast that morning... fresh food, not yesterday's one. after that, i, irvin, drew n jia feng went for a swim. was unable to identify the lifeguard... learnt how to summerslam [dunno how to spell]...but lotsa water run into my nose while practicing it! Errrr... not enjoyable! ircin was like a hippo... 1 moment, he's soaked in the water and the next moment, drying himself on land...

after the swim, went to escape theme park... i luv it! fun~ fun~ fun~ went in by paying 14 bucks! then the cashier inform me, "quite number of our rides are close for maintenance... do u mind?" then i replied, "then no discount ar?". then she replied "later went leaving the park, go to guest relations to collect extra ticket..." everyone got an extra ticket for next time enterance, coz pepsi, cadbury - the most thrilling of all, and some other rides were close for maintenance. drew was the best entertainer, hahaha... play play and play will closing time - 8pm! i will be organising another class outing to escape theme park, when pepsi and cadbury are open!

then went back to our house. at around 1 am, went to play bowling. intend to play pool initially, but was closed! so play bowling instead... JJ's throwing style was a highlight to most of us - right drew???

this time, i slept with as little space as possible.

Day 3 : left chalet at around 10+. the 3 uper-four riaders left on their bikes. chia feng n denny already left earlier... sent nas, cher, ai nee, neo and drew home. had roti prata at coffee shop around nas' place. after that, went shopping with my sister n bro-in-law. went to haji lane as our first destination. followed by marina square, tampines mall, century square, the heeren, centrepoint and lastly, haig road for dinner. sister wanted to eat rice... so dunno where else to go.

I really enjoyed the chalet... love u guys it0415.... =)

Unwell day

First thing in my activity list today was going to the clinic. Having really bad sore throat and cough. Have been having it for about 3-4 days. I ate Trachisan lozenges (my ex-medicine) and Wood's cough syrup. But it doesn't seems to help much... Waiting to meet the doctor wasn't very long as it was near closing time for lunch. In the doctor's room, OMG!!! The smell was not like a clinic. Got those smell of chinese food... Alamak! Terok lah!!! [Worse lah!!!] Nonsence ar!!! I became more sick like that... The doctor poke a huge ice-cream stick in my mouth to push my tongue down, and she say... "Awwww! Your sore throat is bad".

Waiting for the medicine was horrible!!! Sooo long...

After that, went for my dental appointment at Outram. The journey was not that long... about 1 1/2 hours...!!! I even fell asleep on thr bus.

At the n'tional dental ctr, I sit on the dental chair cum bed machine for not more than 2 minutes. She just wanna review my retainer. She took off my retainer. Then ask, so you been wearing your retainer all-day all-night? Then I say, only all-night. I was expecting her to give me a better solution than the clear plastic retainer. But my expectation was simply too high... She replied, you must put on at least 18-hours a day... Sigh! Watever...

Went to the counter, the receptionist say... "The total payment for today was $50 (50 plus)..." I was thinking why I have to pay so expensive??? Then I ask, payment for? Reply: Consumables & Review... As I wasn't feeling that well, I just pay for it!!!

After that, went home... Summarise points for SWENG. Tomorrow than study!!! Tomorrow very late paper, 4:30pm. Hmmmm...!

Finallyyy....!!! Project is over...

Thursday was awkward. Reach school at 12:05pm, with cher busy debugging her part. Finally the error was with the database...missing columns.

When presentation starts, I was very very nervous [as usual]. They say my face was red throughout the presentation. My effort was wasted on the powerpoint slides. Created a wonderful 13 slides, but can never expose to the markers, reason is "short of time...". Is that my problem???

After presentation, Mr Graham say.. "nizam, i will give you distinction case...". I was really shock of it. I think the main pull-out was the fantastic G.U.I [thanks to aini]. Other than that, I don't find our system very very very good that can drag me to the distinction case. But my instinct says I won't get Distinction coz our system functionality got some holes. But the fact is, we can't make a complete system...Bcoz we only have 4 members. What more can you expect??? So during presentation, the default reply would be... "future enhancement". And during the Distinction presentation, the markers laugh a lot of times. Shockingly speaking, I was less nervous during the Distinction Presentation then the Normal Presentation.

Btw, didn't have lunch for thursday. So during both presentations, my stomach was errupting!!! So at the end of the presentation, we had our class outing discussion. We finally chose Costa Sands Pasir Ris Duplex chalet. After that, our semestral photo session. Sharon & Nas...where are the photos???

After that, sent ainee, nas and cher to AMK MRT station. Then pick-up my sister. At first, we intend to go east coast to eat dinner... But change our mind later and had dinner at haig road. The dinner environment was damn crazy. We ordered 2 mee goreng from the mama shop, they gave us a plate of mee goreng and a plate of mee goreng putih [uncoloured mee goreng]. Then we order one more to take-away, so total 3 mee goreng. Sister already paid the first two plates. Then later the indian man came to give us the packet mee goreng, then sister gave him $10. LAter he came and happily return us $1. We were like...wtf??? Haven't we paid for the 2 plates earlier on??? Then we call him to solve the probz. Then we ordered two glasses of teh ice / teh peng / ice tea, but they gave us 2 glass of teh halia [ginger tea]. Sister wanna eat popiah, the popiah the shop gave was rather short. That's the more horrible dinner I had!!!

Then sent sister home...

Friday was supposely be a relax day for me. BUT!!! Bcoz of the ProLink CD, i gotta get-up early... Haiz!!! Nas, take note of that? Huahaha...

Finally project have finish!

Finally.... i've finished coding. But left 1%, that's integration. Hopefully integration wouldn't give me a super big headache.

Last Week

Went to Malaysia for 3D/2N over at my aunt's place at Jln Pulasan 42. Waited for the bus at Larkin bus terminal for over 1 hour. The journey to my aunt's itself is already over 2 hours. Haiz!!! Left singapore at about 6 o'clock, reach my aunt's place near midnight.

Stayed there for 2 nights, then went shopping at City Square for awhile... Reached singapore back on monday evening.

Early in the morning, got EXCO meeting in the oven-hot meeting room. Saturday no aircon.... Then in the afternoon, Darul Ihsan got prize presentation. And now... trying to compile the projects into my thumbdrive.
